The Force5 2.0 kit comes with a choice of two Exterior Antennas option: Omni-Directional/ Yagi-Directional Antenna

 

• Omni-Directional Antenna (SKU:SC-288W)- up to 4 dB maximum gain: The Omni antennas receive and send signals in a 360º radius. They can receive signals from multiple cell towers and are best for boosting signal on many different carriers. They are excellent in most situations where the existing outside signal strength is moderate to strong. If the outside signal is weaker than that, you may need the directional Yagi antenna instead.

how this surecall force5 2.0 signal booster works ?

This Signal Booster system typically works by having the exterior antenna mounted at or above the roofline of the building that requires better cellular signal, in a location where the antenna can pick up the strongest existing outside cell signal. Then signal received by the exterior antenna is sent over a cable into a building, where it is received by the Force5 2.0 Amplifier or Repeater. The Amplifier boost the cell signals and then sends it over to the inside antenna through a coax cable. The indoor antenna rebroadcasts the signals inside the building. Some kits have more than one indoor antenna to help distribute the enhanced cellular signal to the area where it’s located. The entire process also works in reverse, so you get a strong and reliable connection back to your carrier.
